Website Colour Scheme
I have chosen to use a muted colour palette of a range of greys, whilst embodying colour through small uses of a lighter or pastel shade of purple. This is because the artists’ websites I researched, in relation to ballad songs, had rather muted colours throughout to possibly resemble to melancholic tone of their music. Furthermore, the use of purple on my website will enhance brand identity as this is a difference from most websites for artists who create ballad music.

The footer contains social media links to other major platforms to provide multi-media engagement, potentially enhancing the artists’ popularity across platforms and boosting their fan base.

A connection between the artist and fan is encouraged here by covering personal information of the artist, proving the fan with an insight to their ‘ordinary’ life and struggles to relate to the ballad music theme.

An easily accessible page for fans to see the officially released albums from the artist with each song listed accordingly. It allows a fan to possibly engage with a certain album, due to certain songs within, which could become their personal favourite, encouraging further streams on platforms such as Spotify.
As my connected page, the store promotes further engagement between the artist and fan as a range of merchandise is on display for purchase. It will be accessible via a link on the homepage titled ‘store’ of ‘shop’ so that it is easily noticeable for fans.
To link my media products of a music video and website together I am including a section for the music video on my website which will be titled ‘newly released’. This will encourage engagement between each media products with each one promoting the other.
The home page is designed to attract the viewer’s attention and establish brand identity trough the colours and font of the text. The separate page of the store we be accessible through the home page, making it easy to find for fans. The music video will also be promoted on the home page to notify fans of the new release, encouraging them to watch the music video and reinforces the link between the media products.
